WYOMING ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS 2017 REALTOR OF THE YEAR

Nancy Clancy named the Wyoming Association of Realtors 2017 Realtor of the Year. The award is designed to honor and recognize a REALTOR® member for outstanding service to the real estate profession and community. The Realtor of the Year award is given to recipients who advocate and expand the interest of fellow REALTORS®, their profession, and the real estate community at large; demonstrate the outstanding work by REALTORS® to the general public; and fit a leadership position among peers and foster a spirit of camaraderie between local, state and national REALTORS®.

Nancy has been a WAR member for 21 years and has served on many local and state committees and boards including President of the Teton Board of Realtors and the District Vice-President for the Wyoming Association of Realtors. Nancy was also awarded Teton Board of Realtors 2017 Realtor of Year in September.

Nancy is currently serving on the National Association of Realtors as a Board Director and on the National Resort and Second Home Committee.  In addition to her industry achievements, she also makes it a priority to be active in the community. She has worked to raise money for local nonprofits such as the Grand Teton National Park Foundation and PAWS.

“It was a big surprise to be named Realtor of the Year and I am truly grateful and humbled by the recognition,” said Nancy. “It’s service to your Association, contributions to your fellow members, to the public, and to your own development that make us truly successful. And I firmly believe that one of the most important duties of leadership is to mentor and encourage new leaders in our industry.”
